Obtain a duplicate of your certificate of conformity

What is it?

The copy or duplicate of the certificate of conformity is a European certificate that allows any vehicle imported from the European Union (EU) to be registered in Europe, including in Belgium. This document certifies that the vehicle complies with European standards and directives (CE) when it leaves the factory, and is therefore suitable for registration in Belgium and sale in any European country.

How do I get one?

To order your duplicate certificate of conformity, go to the Approval service portal.

The price, procedure and time frame for receiving the certificate of conformity will depend on the year, brand and country of origin of your vehicle:

Belgian vehicles:
Before 1998 (cars) or 2011 (vans)
Volkswagen-AUDI-SEAT-CUPRA-SKODA-PORSCHE: €95 (including VAT)C

After 1998 (cars) or 2011 (vans)
Volkswagen-AUDI-SEAT-CUPRA-SKODA: €120 (including VAT)
Porsche: €225 (including VAT)
